History A lot of our nation’s history is not written down in history books. What do we know of the past? What is in our history? What part of that history, albeit important, never got recorded? What did our ancestors know? We need to answer these questions because we need to look back to our past in order to be able to envision our future. Our recorded history already spans over two hundred years of ethnic civilization, over three hundred years of colonial rule, and nearly a hundred years of independence as a nation. A great part of those years is still unknown. Those stories remain to be told-- stories that will serve as the threads that weave the fabric of our identity as a nation. Tell your stories here on LAHI. |
